CJ Leary

Capturing wins at multiple nationally televised events, including the USAC 360 Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway, CJ Leary is a rising star in the dirt oval racing divisions.  CJ started his racing career in 2006, racing Karts and Quarter Midgets.  Success came quickly, racking up over 155 wins including winning the first 2 races in which he ever competed.

From that point forward CJ’s goal was set, to become a professional race car driver.  With the support of family. friends, and sponsors, CJ has been able to make the dream a reality.  Racing with top ranked drivers in a national division, he claimed the 2012 Rookie of the year title along with multiple wins across the US.

CJ has really started coming into his own with a spectacular racing year in 2014.  “Lots of almost wins this past year”, stated C.J., “And I finally gained wins at tracks that I thought I would never get!”  In 2014 C.J. clenched 3 wins at Lawrenceburg Speedway, 1 win at Bloomington Speedway and 1 win at Kokomo Speedway. Another more notable win for Leary, which was also his first USAC West Coast / SouthWest Sprint Car win was at Perris Motor Speedway in Perris, CA, where he also set a new track record. Leary was voted Most Improved Driver by the fans on Indiana Open Wheel, a racing forum focusing on non-wing sprint car racing not only in Indiana, but all around the United States. He finished out the 2014 season finishing 10th in the USAC Amsoil National Sprint Series.

With a tireless will and determination and through the support of his sponsors, CJ’s aspiration to become a professional race car driver is speeding forward.  When it comes to racing, he welcomes any challenges presented to him and is willing to do and drive whatever it takes to fulfill his dream.
